Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

1. Introduction

JobBlueLink, Inc. ("JobBlueLink", "we," "us," or "our") is a social network and a marketplace platform dedicated to helping people get jobs and assisting employers in finding great candidates. This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding the personal information ("Personal Data") we collect from users through our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Our Service connects businesses ("Customers" or "you") with a network of job seekers ("Users" or "you"). We value the trust you place in us when sharing your information and are committed to maintaining that trust by being transparent about our data practices.

2. Information We Collect

We collect Personal Data in three primary ways: (1) information you provide directly; (2) information we collect automatically when you use our Service; and (3) information we receive from third parties.

A. Information You Provide

The specific Personal Data we collect from you depends on how you interact with our Service:

  • Job Seeker Account Data

When you sign up as a User, we collect data necessary to create your account, such as your name, email address, phone number, zip code, and password.

  • Profile, Resume, and Video Information

To help you find employment, we collect your professional title, work history, skills, education, and resume. We also collect photographs and video content you provide, such as self-introduction videos or headshots for our AI portrait services. Depending on your settings, your profile may be visible to your connections, recruiters, all JobBlueLink members, or the general public (including off-site search engines). Where applicable, we also collect demographic data (such as gender or race) if you choose to provide it for diversity initiatives, especially when an employer optionally requests it.

  • Customer/Employer Data

If you act as a customer, we collect information needed to open an account, promote job listings, and process payments. This includes business verification documents and contact details for your employees managing the account.

  • Connections and Network

You can build your network by connecting with colleagues, contractors, and mentors. We collect data regarding who you connect with, follow, or invite to the platform. If you choose to sync your device's contacts to find colleagues on JobBlueLink, we will securely store and use that data to suggest connections.

  • Payment and Identity Verification

To coordinate payments for work performed or to charge for services, authorized third parties collect financial data, including bank account numbers, credit card numbers, and government IDs (e.g., driver's license or passport). We do not store full credit card numbers directly.

  • Communications

We collect the content of any messages you send to us (feedback, support inquiries) or to other users via our platform.

B. Information We Collect When You Use Our Services

When you visit our website, use our platform, communicate with our support with chat/chatbot, post comments on our platform or use our mobile apps, we collect specific usage data and information:

  • Activity Data

We record which areas of the Site you visit, the time spent on pages, jobs viewed, and interactions with features (clicks, scrolls, hovers). This includes information such as access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and third-party sites or service you were using before interacting with our services.

  • Online Community

When you create a public profile, participate in our events or services, or post in our online communities, you consent to the collection and disclosure of your information to other users of our websites and communities. The information contained in your posting will be stored on our servers and shared with other users who have access to the community.

  • Device Information

We collect technical details about the device you use, including IP address, device IDs, operating system, browser type, and crash reports.

  • Location Information

We collect location data in two ways:

    • Coarse Location: We derive approximate location (city/state) from your IP address to provide relevant job listings.
    • Precise Location (GPS): With your explicit consent, we collect precise GPS location data via our mobile application. This is used to confirm your arrival and departure from jobs, ensure timekeeping accuracy, and notify you of nearby job opportunities. You may prevent this via your phone settings, though it may limit functionality such as receiving location-based job notifications.
  • Google Maps

Our Service includes the use of Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the: (1) Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service; and (2) Google Privacy Policy.

  • Direct Messaging

We provide messaging features so you can communicate directly with other members, contractors, and employers. We collect and process the content of these messages to deliver them, display them to you, and protect our members from spam, harassment, and malicious links.

  • Communicating with Us

We also retain information on your behalf, such as the Personal Data described above and any information that you submit to us through email, online support ticket, or phone call. We will collect your name and email address, any other information to verify you, as well as any other content included in the email to send you a reply.

C. Information from Third Parties

We may combine information we collect with data from outside sources:

  • From Other Users

We may receive information about you from referrals or if a customer provides feedback or ratings on your work performance.

  • From Public Sources

We may collect information from publicly or commercially available sources to enhance our understanding of our users.
